My name is Hasaan Brown, and I am the proud founder of Purpose Love Doggie Rescue.

Our organization has already rescued hundreds of abandoned, disabled, and deeply neglected pups and our mission is to find them loving, forever homes.

Who am I, you might ask?

I’m a humble, compassionate soul with a lifelong passion for animals one that was sparked during my early years. That deep devotion led me, in July 2023, to collaborate with a remarkable woman and her well-established rescue organization. I began by assisting in the rescue and transport of distressed pups, and during those missions, I felt a profound inner calling to create my own 501(c)(3) nonprofit one with a gentle, personal touch and a commitment to never lose sight of the true purpose.

At Purpose Love Doggie Rescue, our goal is simple yet powerful:

To bring joy, love, and healing by uniting wonderful families with pups who need them.

We are not a traditional shelter. We operate as a home-based foster rescue, meaning our pups live in our home, where they receive love, care, and security before transitioning into yours. We’ve found that this makes their adjustment easier and their bond with new families stronger.

To date, we've successfully placed hundreds of dogs across the tristate area, as well as in states like Maine and Rhode Island. We handle our own transportation, often delivering these furry bundles of joy right to your doorstep. The smiles and gratitude we receive from both pups and people that’s our greatest reward.
